Welcome to Animal Connection News Online, your online source for information about animal communication and the messages our animals want to share with us.
Thanks to those of you who contacted our office while I was in Europe. I appreciate you being so patient for my return. We had a fabulous time touring Austria, Germany and Switzerland, but it’s always good to come home…. Especially when your dog is so excited to see you when he’s picked up from the kennel.
We had a few days at home and then we were off on our summer RV trip. This year we are spending the summer in Traverse City, MI instead of traveling all summer. So far, we’re enjoying the cooler temperatures compared to at home in Texas and our dog, Rocky, has already had a swim in Lake Michigan.
Within hours of arriving at our summer site, Rocky had two play dates and an offer for pet setting from a woman who fell in love with him. He is one social dog and if it weren’t for him, we’d hardly meet anyone!
I hope you and your family, both human and animal, are enjoying the start to your summer. We’d love to hear what you’re doing and pictures are always welcomed. You never know, you might be in our next newsletter.

Our office travels with us when we travel in the U.S., so Animal Connection is definitely open for business thanks to all the wonders of electronics these days.

Congratulations to Candy G. of Franktown, CO and her dog, Jolie. Jolie is now a certified therapy dog. Candy said that during Jolie’s final evaluation, a woman at the memory care center grabbed Jolie’s tail and Jolie just looked at her and smiled. Way to go Jolie! Congratulations to both of you on your hard work having such a great outcome.
And congratulations to Kelly B. of Denver, CO on the addition of a new puppy named Baxter. What a wonderful life you are going to have, Baxter! Isn’t he adorable?

Our long time client and personal friend Jayne J. if Newport Beach, CA was invited with her horse, Stormy, to ride with the Camp Pendelton (Marine Corp Base) Commanding General this month. This annual event has been on Jayne’s bucket list for 10 years, but it’s difficult to get the opportunity to join the ride. And if it weren't enough to be invited, this year's ride is particularly exciting, as it’s the General’s last ride as he is retiring. Have fun you two!

We love to hear what’s going on with you and your animals. Just send us an email at [email protected] and feel free to include pictures.

In Memory of Grumpy Cat

Some of you may have seen that the cat made famous by her frowning face, affectionately called Grumpy Cat, passed away on May 14th. I know so many of you saw her face and all the publications that came with it. She truly made us smile and laugh. What a wonderful legacy to leave behind.

Click here if you’d like to read an article about Grumpy Cat and see some wonderful pictures. Yes, they will bring a smile.

RIP, Grumpy Cat.
What is a Custom Communication Session?
Sometimes our clients have a need to have more than one animal communicated with or have more than 5 questions or areas of discussion, which is done through our Standard Session. For this need, we offer a Custom Session where the pricing is based upon the time that it will take to complete the session.

In some circumstances, our clients want one message passed along to multiple animal companions, such as information on their family leaving on vacation or perhaps moving. When one message is passed along to everyone, we can help keep the cost down by communicating with everyone at the same time, which is less costly than communicating with each animal individually sharing that same message.

Whether it’s a group session, wanting a more in depth session with one animal or communicating specific information to multiple animals, we will always provide you a quote on the price before doing a Custom Session.

So do you need something special from Animal Connection? Then a Custom Session may be the answer for you.

If you have any questions about this type of session or any of our other sessions, please feel free to email us at [email protected].

Click here if you would like to place an order or you can always get to the order forms by clicking on the Services - Order Forms tab at the top of any page to locate all our session order forms.

A Good Laugh

The following ad in "The Atlanta Journal" is reported to have received numerous calls:

"SINGLE BLACK FEMALE... Seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant.

I'm a very good looking girl who LOVES to play.  I love long walks in the woods, riding in your pickup truck, hunting, camping, and fishing trips, cozy winter nights lying by the fire.  Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of your hand. Rub me the right way and watch me respond. I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me. Kiss me and I'm yours.

Call xxx-xxxx and ask for 'Daisy'."

Over 15,000 men found themselves talking to the local Humane Society about an 8-week-old Black Labrador retriever.

       Animals Communicating with Each Other

Did you ever wonder if animals communicate with other animals? Or how about if animals who have passed away can communicate with those that are here? And another question is that if animals do communicate with one another, do they only communicate with those they know or can they communicate to those in another state or country? And finally, while we’re on the subject, can domestic and wild animals communicate with each other?

The simple answer is yes, yes, yes and yes!

Animals definitely do communicate among themselves whether in their same species (dog to dog or cat to cat) and even between species. It’s not uncommon at all for animals within the same family to communicate among themselves. I’ve even had instances where I’ve been asked to communicate with several animals within one family and they each invite the other to “listen in” to their private communication because they are friends. I always find it amusing when I’m told by the animal listening in that they weren’t eavesdropping but were invited to listen. I guess they just want me to know that they weren’t being impolite.

Animals who have passed on can also communicate with those who are still here and often do when they first pass away. They will take the time to say good-bye to their friends as they leave their bodies and then come back to visit to let them know they are doing well in the spirit world and comfort those that they left behind.

I have known some instances where domestic and non-domestic animals have communicated but non-domesticated animals don't communicate as much outside their own group because they are so focused on survival.

Many years ago, I was contacted by a client and asked to communicate with the coyotes around her home as they were constantly invading her chicken coop and she was losing chickens. Non-domesticated animals can be tough to communicate with, as they aren’t as in tune with people as domesticated animals. And although I was able to communicate with them, I didn’t feel that they understood the urgency of my request…. Which of course I could understand given that raiding the chicken coop was part of their survival in finding food. However, I did enlist the help of the family’s dogs. I asked them to also communicate to the coyotes to stay away, yet not confront the coyotes physically. In this case, the dogs agreed and in a follow up session, they told me about their experience, which wasn’t too pleasant. Those coyotes were very focused on those chickens and weren’t going to be talked out of it.

I have known animals who do communicate with others over very long distances. In particular, I remember a horse who kept in touch with one of her babies as the baby had been sold. She knew all about what her baby was doing as she grew and was trained.

Orange Tabby cats are widely known with communicators to be great long distance communicators and many times will send messages over long distances for others. I knew of one such cat who shared messages from his neighbor cats to other cats on the opposite coast. He was quite the neighborhood messenger.

Some time ago, I communicated with Dude, an orange tabby, who is part of Sylvia K.’s family in Buffalo Grove, IL. Dude told me that his long distance specialty is keeping young animals who have gone to new families in touch with their mothers until they can adjust to the separation. What a wonderful job!

So just think about it… while you’re away from the house, maybe your animals are busier than you think keeping in touch with others as they wait for you to return home. Hmmm…. I wonder who they are communicating with and what information they are sharing. Now there’s some food for thought!

Cat In Heaven

One day, a cat dies of natural causes and goes to heaven and meets St. Peter at the Pearly Gates.

St. Peter says to the cat, "You lived a good life, and if there is any way I can make your stay in heaven more comfortable, please let me know."

The cat thinks for a moment and says, "All my life I have lived with a poor family and had to sleep on a hard wooden floor."

St. Peter stops the cat and says, "Say no more," and a wonderful, fluffy pillow appears.

A few days later, six mice are killed in a tragic farming accident, and all of them go to heaven. Again, the St. Peter is there to greet them with the same offer.

The mice answer, "All our lives we have been chased. We have had to run from cats, dogs, and even women with brooms. Running, running, running; we're tired of running. Do you think we could have roller skates so that we don't have to run anymore?"

St. Peter says, "Say no more" and fits each mouse with beautiful new roller skates.

About a week later, St. Peter stops by to see the cat and finds him snoozing on the pillow.

He gently wakes the cat and asks him, "How are things since you got here?"

The cat stretches and yawns, then replies, "It is wonderful here. Better than I could have ever expected. And those 'Meals On Wheels' you've been sending by are the best!"
